Heh,

The problem with studying a conflict and looking for the 5GW is that if they are doing it right will look the same as if they aren't doing it at all. At best all you will be able to find is a conspiracy theory of some kind. It takes more than propaganda to be 5GW. Although, perhaps one of my co-bloggers has a better 5GW view of the situation.

There are some interesting XGW implications that might be explored however. We will just have to see what sort of information is available to analyze once the smoke clears a bit.

Thanks Arherring I don't usually engage in editorial commentary blog posts (as I really suck at it), but thought looking at the variety or sources and what they were reporting might be of interest to some people. Finding good information being reported on cyber warfare is difficult at best. I am hoping that in the near future the blogosphere with the power of foreign language readers will expose more information. I can't wait to see what you make of this at http://dreaming5gw.com/ .

Nice post!

I've had a hard time getting a handle on the whole conflict in spite of what I've read in the blogosphere, forums and news sites. The MSM looks to be in even worse shape as I've yet to see a quality/descriptive map from them since the conflict started. We probably won't know much at all until long after the conflict ends, and maybe not even then.

Thank you for exploring this aspect of the conflict. It casts a different light on some of the events leading up to the troop movements.
