I would like to congratulate four CIT graduate students in their win of the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) cyber forensics challenge. Team “Or11–” came together and was composed of these four students.
This Purdue team took home Grand Champion status placing #1 in the graduate student category and #5 over all. This is an international competition with over a 1000 teams competing world wide. Competitors include undergraduate students, graduate students, civilian professionals and military professionals. The team will get a plaque, and medal for participating. This is one of the toughest digital forensic incident response challenges out there lasting nearly 8 months.
